One day Art and Drawing Workshop had been conducted in the College campus. Mr. Shripathi Rao, the Retired Head Master of Shri Durgambha High School, Alankar and famous artist, trained Student-teachers.

The Student-teachers involved in Smart Board training conducted in St. Ann's English Medium School, Kadaba. The Student-teachers received opportunity for Practical management of Smart board along with theoretical background.

Kudmal Ranga Rao Jayanthi Celebration was held on 29th of June in the College to honor the contributions of Kudmal Ranga Rao to the Indian Society.

An awareness program was arranged to give awareness about Drug addiction.

Yoga is an art, which allows a person to bring out effective personality blissfully. The college campus witnessed world yoga day on 21st June 2024 where in the famous yoga master Mr. Vijesh Bilinele, was the guest of honor. Yoga practical was instructed and conducted by Mr. Vijesh Bilinele.

One Day Workshop had been conducted in the College as the part of Drama and Art in Education. Mr. Gunapal M. S. Physical Education Teacher, Govt. Aided High School, Mundaje, The upcoming Artist and the Singer was the resource person. The Student-Teachers exhibited wonderful drama performance which was scripted by their own.

Student-teachers of 3rd Semester B. Ed visited Bethany Jeevan Jyothi Special School, Mardhala as the part of Inclusive Education.

Student-teachers of 3rd Semester B.Ed visited various Cultural Centre in and around as the part of Art and Drama in Education.

Basava Jayanthi was celebrated in our College to remembers his contribution to the society, and to honor the thoughts of Vishwaguru Basaweshwara. The 12th Century Philosopher, Social Activist and Social Reformer.

One Day motivation Session workshop had been conducted in the College campus. Dr. Nandeesh Y D., Asst. Professor of Govt. First Grade College (GFGC), Uppinangady, Dept. of Social Work (BSW), was the resource person of this session and given a talk and interaction session on "Emotional Intelligence as a tool of touching the Minds". This programm helped Student-Teachers to be guided by a positive mine and driven by self-motivation. This session was a resounding success, leaving the attendees inspired and motivated to strive for excellence in their respective careers.

College Wall Magazine "CREAZIONE 2K24-2K25" was inaugurated by Rev Fr. Dr. Eldho Puthenkandathil the manager of the College. The Theme 'ISRO-The Faces of Success' was walled on. Every week the members of Literature Club shall wall on magazine with different themes.

The Student-teachers of Mar Ivanios College of Education took the opportunity to honour and appreciate the hardworking support of workers. A special assembly was held, where the 2nd year Student-teacher Ms. Keerthi had enlightened about the valuable contributions of labors to our society and their vital role in the growing economy of the country.

The Inauguration of Various Clubs of the College was held in the College Auditoriom. Mr. Laxmikanth Rai Anikootel , Asst. Professor of Vivekananda Law College, Puttur and the member of SWEEP-D.K ., graced the occasion. Rev. Fr. Dr. Eldho puthenkandathil presided over the programme.

College Student-teachers union was inaugurated by Mr. Laxmikanth Rai Anikootel, Asst. Professor of Vivekananda Law College, Puttur and the member of SWEEP-D.K. Rev. Fr. Dr. Eldho Puthenkandathil, the manager of the College led the oath taking ceremony. They had informative and judicious session and interaction by Mr. Laxmikantha Rai with the fullest involvement of the Student-teachers.

Ambedkar Jayanthi was celebrated to honors and commemorate the profound thoughts and contribution of Dr. B R Ambedkar.

College Student-Teacher's Union Election was conducted in the College Campus. Polling was done very systematically following the norms and voting regulations.

A felicitation ceremony was conducted in the College to acknowledge the Out Standing Academic performance of our Librarian Ms. Benzy Abraham.

The new B.Ed Academic year 2023-24 commenced from 20th March 2024. Fresher's day was conducted and Student-Teachers were welcomed to the Institution. The Student-Teachers exhibited their hidden talents. Games were conducted.

21 Student-Teachers from our College had participated in University Level Inter collegiate Music Compaction held at Mangalore University College, Hampanakatte. One of our Student-Teacher Ms. Ashwitha C A won 2nd prize in light music competition which shall be a proud moment for the College and management.

Voter's Day was celebrated to give awryness of casting vote as a Citizen of India. Mr. Lakshmikantha Rai, Asst. Professor, of Vivekananda Law College , Puttur, and the members of SWEEP-D.K had given awareness about the importance of casting vote.

Mar Ivanios College of Education, Kunthoor secured 100% result with excellent performance in the Academic year 2022-23.In II Semester 84% of Student-Teachers secured First Class with Distinction,16% of Student-teachers secured First Class Marks. In IV Semester Student -teachers achieved 83% of First Class with Distinction and 17% of Student-teachers secured First Class Marks.

The inauguration day for the Academic Year 2023- 24 was conducted on 20th March 2024. The Student-teachers were welcomed to the Institution.

The Mar Ivanios College of Education, Kunthoor campus was full of energetic and enthusiastic vibe on 25th January 2024, as the College was witnessing Ivanian Sports Meet. Different track events and games were conducted and winners were awarded.

A Placement Programme was conducted in our College on 13th January 2024 by Sri Ramakunjeshwara English Medium High School, Ramakunja. All the Students-teachers were involved in this programme.

Christmas celebration held in the college on 22/12/2023 with the full ambient of Christmas star ,crib, Santa Claus, Carol songs, cakes etc. Rev. Sr Alen Mary ,the Headmistress of Mar Ivanios English High School, Kunthoor was the chief guest and blessed the occasion with inspiring message

Kannada Rajyotsava , the great festival of our state was held in our institution, with the presidential ship of Our Principal In-charge Mrs. Usha M L and Various cultural programmes were organized on that day.

The Ivanian fest 2k23 was conducted in our institution, it was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Eldho Puthenkandathil. Different competitions were organized to evaluate the talents of the Student-teachers.

The result of I & III Semester B Ed 2022-23 has been announced and Mar Ivanios College of Education secured 100% results with excellent performance. In I Semester 92% of Students secured First class with distinction, 8% of Students secured first class respectively. In III Semester 88% of Students secured First class with distinction, 12% of Students secured first class respectively.

The Constructivism and 5E Approaches Workshop had been conducted in the College. The resource person was Mr. Kumara Swamy H, the Assistant Professor Government College of Teacher Education, Mangalore.

Ekh tharikh ekh zanda swachatha Abhiyan was conducted in the college on 1-10-2023.The students performed a program which develops awareness about the clean-India-,clean environment concept. The students also participated in the college garden cleaning work with great enthusiasm.

As per the instruction from Mangalore University Vyasana Muktha Dinacharane was held in the College on the occasion of the birthday of Dr. Mahantha Shivayogi Swamiji. Various cultural programs were conducted by the Student- teachers to create awareness about the problems of consumption of drugs

The college campus witnessed Aatidonji dina celebration which is the famous Aati festival in Thulunadu. The students performed programmes which highlight the traditional significance of the festival. A seminar on NEP - 2020 was conducted on 19/07/2022 in association with Commerce club to make the student teachers more knowledgeable and be updated about the new policy which is the need of the time. Kanakadasa Jayanthi was celebrated in the college on 20/11/2021 to commemorate the great contribution of Kanakadasa in the field of arts and culture. Students exhibited very influential and effective programmes.

A seminar was arranged in the college on the topic “Gender, School and Society” on 17/11/2021. The social worker, Athradi Amrutha Shetty was the resource person who made the students to modify the thoughts and acts towards gender as well as to accept the dignity and high up the status of women.

Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated in the college on 2nd of November to commemorate the day of Karnataka state formation. Students performed skit, dance, group song and speech which elevated the greatness and glory of Kannada language and Karnataka.

The visit of II year B.Ed students to Bethany Jeevan Jyothi special school, Mardala to be more knowledgeable in Inclusive education and also to experience the educational environment of specially abled students.

The students of II year B.Ed had undergone a training program on smart class in the subject ICT St. Ann's English medium school Kadaba, in order to be proficient in modern educational technology.

The students participated in the district level competitions held at Govt. Students of III Sem B.Ed had visited Kuppalli, the hometown of Rastrakavi Kuvempu. The purpose of the visit is to study and know more about the renowned poet, which is the part of subject Art and Drama in Education.

Museums enrich critical thinking, cultural capital, love towards antique and our heritage. To develop these qualities in students institution has provided an opportunity to visit museum.

Rain harvesting and Water conservation is the need of the present scenario. To get the practical knowledge students from our college had been visited Ermala. Mr. Subrahmanya, Teacher, St. Mary's High school, Mardala had guided the students.

The enthusiastic members of the Humanities club of our college organised relevant program on 21 September in connection with the International day of peace. The theme of the year is " Climate action for peace". The celebration brought out a good meaning to the students through a presentation by Sr. Gracy K J.

Students had participated in the intercollegiate competitions held at St. Aloysius Institute of Education and won Ist prize in craft and IInd prize in documentary.

Mis. Reshma Mary Thomas has won first prize in the university level and participated in the state level science seminar competition organised by Karnataka science and technology academy held at Bidar.

Onam was celebrated with cohesiveness by the college community. Pookalam, Onam sadya and cultural events were the fascinations of the day.

The college student council organised teacher's day solemnly to express their love and gratitude towards the teachers. The day was filled with joy and happiness.

Women empowerment is to elevate womanhood and enrich the indomitable spirit of the women. The cell was inaugurated by Dr. Shobhitha Sathish - The lecturer, Vivekananda College of Education.

Independence Day

Independence day was celebrated with great patriotism. Mr. Raghunandana k - The lecturer in Computer science has delivered a beautiful speech with historical information.

The actively functioning language clubs in our college are Kannada, English and Hindi. Language is meant for meaningful communication. The club was inaugurated by Rev. Sr. Jesmin Therese DM - The principal, Mar Ivanios English Medium School.

Environment day was celebrated in our college on 6th June for the purpose of planting the saplings to prevent global warming and reduce pollution.

Leader is one who leads the group, knows the way and shows the way. College imparts such capabilities among the students through students council. The council was inaugurated by Rev.
