Mar Ivanios College of Education, Kunthoor secured 100% result with excellent performance in the Academic year 2022-23.In II Semester 84% of Student-Teachers secured First Class with Distinction,16% of Student-teachers secured First Class Marks. In IV Semester Student -teachers achieved 83% of First Class with Distinction and 17% of Student-teachers secured First Class Marks.

The inauguration day for the Academic Year 2023- 24 was conducted on 20th March 2024. The Student-teachers were welcomed to the Institution.

Farewell day was celebrated in our Institution under the presidentship of Rev. Dr. Fr. Eldho Puthenkandathil. All students attended the program.

Mar Ivanios College of Education, Kunthoor is Publishing the Newsletter with solid contents every year with the name "Sprouting Spring" and this year emphasizing with theme "Life Skills ". This year's news letter is going to be published during the annual day celebration ,which will be held on 2nd February 2024.

As a part of "The National Electrical safety week "An Awareness program was arranged by our college on 21/12/2023.Mr. Saji , the Mescom J E Officer, Alankar had spoken about the use and importance of electricity and he had also given awareness about how to protect ourselves from electric shock.

The 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Day was celebrated in our institution. Mrs. Usha M L , the Principal of our institution ,delivered a message on the topic "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights".

Kannada Rajyotsava , the great festival of our state was held in our institution, with the presidential ship of Our Principal In-charge Mrs. Usha M L and Various cultural programmes were organized on that day.

The Ivanian fest 2k23 was conducted in our institution, it was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Eldho Puthenkandathil. Different competitions were organized to evaluate the talents of the Student-teachers.

The result of I & III Semester B Ed 2022-23 has been announced and Mar Ivanios College of Education secured 100% results with excellent performance. In I Semester 92% of Students secured First class with distinction, 8% of Students secured first class respectively. In III Semester 88% of Students secured First class with distinction, 12% of Students secured first class respectively.

The Constructivism and 5E Approaches Workshop had been conducted in the College. The resource person was Mr. Kumara Swamy H, the Assistant Professor Government College of Teacher Education, Mangalore.

Ekh tharikh ekh zanda swachatha Abhiyan was conducted in the college on 1-10-2023.The students performed a program which develops awareness about the clean-India-,clean environment concept. The students also participated in the college garden cleaning work with great enthusiasm.

Twenty three Student-Teachers from our College had participated in "Cultural Blend" competition held on 06/10/2023 at St. Aloysius Institute of Education, Mangalore.

For the Comprehensive assessment of the Academic Activities of the Student-teachers, the Moderation Board from the Mangalore University had the Visited the College. The Panel of Moderation Board appreciated the overall performance of the Student-teachers and the professors.

As per the instruction from Mangalore University Vyasana Muktha Dinacharane was held in the College on the occasion of the birthday of Dr. Mahantha Shivayogi Swamiji. Various cultural programs were conducted by the Student- teachers to create awareness about the problems of consumption of drugs

Traditional day (UNITE) was held in the college from Social Science club. Unique games and cultural programs were held exhibiting the various traditions of India.

Art and Drama is one of the academically Activity for III Semester Student-teachers. Whole Class performed two meaningful, social relevant Drama in the College Auditorium.

World Human Rights Day was celebrated in the college by exhibiting the programs which upheld the significance of human rights.

The Constitution Day had been celebrated in the college by reading out the preamble. A seminar was presented on the subject India - The mother of democracy.

To make aware of and to safeguard environment, "Save Environment Day" program was arranged in connection with National Integration Week celebration.

A program was held to showcase the role of women in Indian society and in the progress of the nation, in connection with National Integration Week celebration.

The student teachers of second year B.Ed had visited Block Resource Centre, Puttur to gain knowledge about the administration of education department in block level.

Gandhi Jayanthi celebration was held on 02/10/2022 in the college. The staff and the student teachers offered tribute to the Father of the nation Mahathma Gandhi through patriotic performances.

An awareness program was arranged by the women empowerment cell. Mr. Anjaneya Reddy, the Sub Inspector of Kadaba police station had given awareness about women empowerment, mobile usage, utilization of opportunities and all sorts of addictions.

The students involved in smart board training on 05/08/2022, arranged in St. Ann's English Medium school, Kadaba where they received opportunity for practical management of smart board along with theoretical background.

The college campus witnessed Aatidonji dina celebration which is the famous Aati festival in Thulunadu. The students performed programmes which highlight the traditional significance of the festival. The students derived happiness by playing aati special games and enjoyed the aati special traditional food together.

College level competitions on Essay writing, Patriotic song, Painting, Poster making had been conducted in the college on 21/07/2022 with regard to Azaadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav which is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. The winners have participated in the zonal and inter zonal competitions.

A seminar on NEP - 2020 was conducted on 19/07/2022 in association with Commerce club to make the student teachers more knowledgeable and be updated about the new policy which is the need of the time. The eminent resource person Dr. Ravi M N - The professor, Govt First Grade College, Vamadapadavu enlightened the students on the topic.

Commemoration of Heavenly Patron of the institution, Geevarghese Mar Ivanios - The first Arch Bishop of Trivandrum, founder and first head of the Syro Malankara Catholic Church.

A day for art and drama was arranged on 28/06/2022 where in the student teachers were trained and performed drama on verities of themes as the part of curriculum.

A workshop was arranged on craft making to mould the students to be creative and proficient in creating craft and decorative materials.

Yoga is an art which allows a person to bring out effective personality blissfully. The college campus witnessed World Yoga day on 21 st June 2022 where in the famous Yoga Master Mr. Vijesh Bilinele inaugurated and conducted Yoga practical classes.

A debate on the significance of Kannada as medium of instruction was conducted from Kannada Language Club, where two groups of student-teachers presented their thoughts and practicability in logical manner.

The Human Rights Day was celebrated in the college. The programme had been arranged by the College Human Rights Cell under the leadership of Asst. Pro. Mr Ajit Kamat. An effective & informative debate by the students brought out the essence of Human Rights in human life.

National Constitution Day was commemorated by reading the preamble of the constitution and displaying the importance of the day.

Kanakadasa Jayanthi was celebrated in the college on 20/11/2021 to commemorate the great contribution of Kanakadasa in the field of arts and culture. Students exhibited very influential and effective programmes.

A seminar was arranged in the college on the topic “Gender, School and Society” on 17/11/2021. The social worker, Athradi Amrutha Shetty was the resource person who made the students to modify the thoughts and acts towards gender as well as to accept the dignity and high up the status of women.

Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated in the college on 2nd of November to commemorate the day of Karnataka state formation. Students performed skit, dance, group song and speech which elevated the greatness and glory of Kannada language and Karnataka.

Clean India Abhiyan was conducted in the college. The students performed a program which develops awareness about the clean - India, clean - environment concept. The students also participated in the college garden cleaning work with great enthusiasm.

The Vigilance Awareness Week commenced with the Integrity Pledge to all the faculties, students and staff members by senior most functionary on 28-10-2019.

National Unity Day was celebrated on the account of the commemoration of Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel - the Iorn man of India. Various programs along with march-past by uttering slogans took place. Essay competion had been held and the winners were awarded.

With the purpose of welcoming new comers in a friendly atmosphere, to encourage their creative impulses and to boost their confidence, college had conducted the Freshers' day on 19-10-2019 with the esteemed presence of correspondent Rev. Dr. Eldho Puthenkandathil.

Museums enrich critical thinking, cultural capital, love towards antique and our heritage. To develop these qualities in students institution has provided an opportunity to visit museum.

Rain harvesting and Water conservation is the need of the present scenario. To get the practical knowledge students from our college had been visited Ermala. Mr. Subrahmanya, Teacher, St. Mary's High school, Mardala had guided the students.

The enthusiastic members of the Humanities club of our college organised relevant program on 21 September in connection with the International day of peace. The theme of the year is " Climate action for peace". The celebration brought out a good meaning to the students through a presentation by Sr. Gracy K J.

Students had participated in the intercollegiate competitions held at St. Aloysius Institute of Education and won Ist prize in craft and IInd prize in documentary.

Mis. Reshma Mary Thomas has won first prize in the university level and participated in the state level science seminar competition organised by Karnataka science and technology academy held at Bidar.

Students participated in the cluster level awareness program (Drug addiction) hosted by the Sapentia Bethany College, Nellyadi.
