Mar Ivanios College of Education, Kuthoor, Perabe, celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Faculty members and student teachers paid tribute to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and reflected on the values of freedom, unity, democracy and national integrity. Patriotic speeches, cultural performances and other commemorative activities highlighted the significance of India's independence and inspired students to uphold the ideals of responsible citizenship and service to the nation. The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to contribute positively to society and the country's progress.
